Registered Massage Therapist
Claire Voigt is a Registered Massage Therapist who has been practicing since 2012. She is a graduate from Sutherland Chan, located in Toronto. Claire works by initiating assessments, creating treatment plans in order to work with individual clients’ specific needs. Her treatments have helped many in terms of rehabilitation after MVA's, neurological conditions, palliative care, cancer, HIV, sleep disorders, anxiety, depression, edema, increasing ROM, overall pain, migraines, and sports injuries.
Claire is a compassionate, kind, and empathetic person who cares about helping others achieve their optimal health goals by open dialogue with the client. She works to achieve these goals by using her many different modalities including lymphatic drainage, Swedish techniques, sports massage, and myofascial release techniques.
Prior to becoming an RMT, Claire was on the Canadian National Fencing Team and was competing at an international level. It was through the experience of being an elite athlete where she became adept in body and biomechanics, and kinesiology. Her fencing coach, Peter Ho, who is also a Physiotherapist and sports medicine specialist at sunny brook hospital, educated her at a young age about the importance of maintaining her health. Through years of competition and mentorship, Claire quickly realized the important benefits of massage therapy and dedicated her life to helping others.
Claire is an advocate about living life through healthy eating, physical activity, and massage therapy. As part of her treatments, she incorporates natural plant based products and aromatherapy; an asset to her career and treatments.
